概要
第6回ランチタイムフリートークとして、講師からテーマに関する講演が行われた後、参加者間でのフリートークが実施された。講演概要は以下の通り。
Professor Struwig is working on Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834). Coleridge is well known as an English Romantic poet, but Professor Struwig focuses on the importance of his philosophical thought and its influential relationships, particularly those from the German idealism of Kant, Schelling and Hegel. Although most of the research on him has been in the field of Romanticism, the role he played in transmitting German thought to British philosophy is worthy of attention. Professor Struwig is one of the members of a project of cross-disciplinary research between philosophy and literature and will continue to work on intellectual history with a focus on the philosophical thought of Coleridge.
